As the Program Director, Brett manages the operations of the Capital Innovators Accelerator Programs. This includes recruiting and sourcing deal flow, investment negotiations, due diligence, mentor relations, investor relations, marketing, and innovation consulting.

Prior to Capital Innovators, Brett spent time on both the operational and investment side of venture. Most recently, he was an Analyst at Alumni Ventures Group, where he completed 13 investments in Seed through Series C companies across all industry verticals out of the firm's Chicago office.

Brett cut his teeth in the startup ecosystem in New York while interning on the business design team at Human Ventures, a startup studio, volunteered time with founders in the Fighters incubator program at Station F in Paris, and assisted in teh transition of Gener8tor's Madison, WI based gBeta accelerator program to a fully virtual program at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic as an Associate. Brett received a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.
