Alex Kummant

Alex Kummant has 25 years of leadership experience as President, EVP, and CEO, and specializes in P&L value creation. He has worked in both industrial engineering and P&L business, most recently serving as EVP/CEO of Aurizon Network, an Australian railroad. Alex’s engineering and P&L experience ranges across process equipment, automotive components, construction equipment, and aerospace structures. In logistics/transportation, Alex served as an executive for Union Pacific Railroad and CEO of Amtrak.

Kummant brings a strong business-to-business marketing background along with extensive knowledge of complex operations. He has built and coached high-performing teams from the plant floor to the executive level. Alex also brings a broad cultural and international business sense, having served in two significant ex-pat roles. He is fluent in German.

Alex holds engineering degrees from Case Western Reserve and Carnegie Mellon, as well as an MBA from Stanford.
