Former Senior VP & CFO - Viasystems Group, Inc.
Jerry Sax currently volunteers his time to educational and community organizations, and as a member of the panel of independent judges for Ernst & Young’s annual Entrepreneur of the Year award program in the central midwest region.
Over a span of more than 30 years, Jerry gained experience in financial and operational roles, both domestically and abroad. Most recently, he served as Senior VP and CFO of Viasystems Group, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed multinational electronics manufacturing company, until the company was acquired in 2015. Prior to taking up the CFO role in 2005, Jerry had previously served in operational roles for Viasystems, including both as Senior VP-Global Supply Chain and as an ex-pat Senior VP-Europe. Before joining Viasystems in 1998, he had been VP and Corporate Controller of Berg Electronics, Inc. from 1995.
After completing an undergraduate business degree at Saint Louis University (SLU) in 1983, Jerry began his career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co. His primary focus at Andersen was its “enterprise group” practice, which catered to the special needs of small, growing, entrepreneurial companies.
