Sean Patty, Managing Partner of FenceRow Capital, has a diverse and accomplished background in mergers & acquisitions, venture development and business management. FenceRow Capital is a boutique advisory firm that, while investing for its principals, also provides guidance to investors and entrepreneurs seeking corporate acquisitions. With a partner, Sean owns and operates two service companies, a niche provider of technical commercial kitchen services as well as an overhead garage door company. Sean holds minority equity positions in a number of early-stage technology companies to which he provides ongoing strategic counsel.
Before founding FenceRow Capital, Sean served as Managing Director at Warson Capital Partners, a St. Louis-based investment bank. Prior to Warson, Sean co-founded Secure Exchange Solutions and served as Interim CFO through two equity rounds for this provider of portable IT collaboration solutions. From 2001 to 2005, Sean was President & CEO of Cernium Corporation, a leading video analytics software company where he led productization, channel development and multiple financing rounds. Sean also served as CFO for Angel Technologies, a high-profile wireless broadband venture in partnership with Raytheon, Wyman-Gordon and Scaled Composites. Sean’s consulting clients over the years have included GE Capital, Tollbridge Technologies, PanAmSat, and PPG.
Sean graduated with a BA in Economics from Bethany College and a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant certificate. In addition to his various corporate board roles, Sean has recently served on the Board of Directors for Bethany College and The Salvation Army of Greater St. Louis.
